less environmental impact

and more meaning for everyone

Five years ago, I began a rejuvenating ritual of sketching once a week. I make a cup of tea, close the door, and start to draw with pencil and paper. This brings me immense joy.

Over time, my work has evolved into using black paper with a white pastel pencil and my subject matter to single images of nature. This strong form and curve, contrasting light and shadow, are simple yet dramatic.

This year I am working to give my art longevity and am sourcing local and sustainable materials. I will continue with the style of work that I enjoy creating while changing the medium. I'm investigating packaging, and I'm looking to participate in like-minded events. My original artwork will have a less environmental impact and more meaning for everyone.
